Title:  A Consultant's Journey of DEI Integration in the Strategic Planning Process

Location: Zoom online event (no charge to IMC USA members and prospective nonprofit consultants for IMC USA membership)

A 90-minute online workshop on integrating Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging into overall nonprofit strategic planning.  
Are you currently facilitating strategic planning engagements with nonprofit organizations? Today, many nonprofits struggle to address diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) challenges in creating a more robust, mission-driven workforce. Incorporating DEIB into an organization's strategic planning process allows for effective integration of DEIB strategies and performance metrics linked to the organization's overall mission and goal. For consultants facilitating strategic planning, this workshop offers an overview of DEIB and how to reimagine the design of traditional strategic planning engagements with the inclusion of DEIB strategies.

Three learning objectives for this workshop include:

• The value of DEI integration in the strategic planning process
• Supporting the ecosystem and the continuum of the DEI journey within the strategic planning and implementation process
• Generating practitioner strategies for DEI integration, including the value add to clients
